What is the most important resource for our success?
Your cunning intuition, of course! It is also very helpful to have a blackberry or iphone, maps, city guides, and a "pit-crew" or phone a friend who can help solve the clues!

What should we wear?
An awesome costume if you can! Team outfits are encouraged! Remember, there is a prize for best costume! It is also very helpful to wear comfortable clothes and shoes

If me or my teammate can't make it, can I get a refund?
No refunds for any reason, however, you can swith teammates up until one day prior to race day

What should I bring?
The following 3 are REQUIRED: Digital camera or camera phone. Photo I.D. and $5.00 or more in one dollar bills.

Do I need to be a runner?
If you can walk 5 miles, you can likely complete the race. Teams are judged by how many checkpoints were completed and then by time.

Do we have to complete the ckeckpoints in any particular order?
You'll want to pick the route you think is fastest. Checkpoints may be completed in any order.

Challenges and Detours: Will we have to eat bugs?
Probably not, but a food challenge isn't out of the question. We'll keep it tolerable!

How long is the race?
Anywhere from 2-4 hours. The finish line is at Ferg's so you'll want to stick around for prizes and raffles. You must be present to win!

Do you cancel if it rains?
No way! Rain simply adds another element to an already wacky and fun race!

When is check-in? When do we get our clues?
Check in begins at 9:00. You will need to sign in, sign your waiver, collect your race bibs and t-shirts. At 9:45 there is a mandatory meeting for all race participants. At 9:59 all teams receive the SEALED clue envelopes. At 10:00, the horn will sound and teams may open their envelopes. At that point, it's on baby!

Can I volunteer?
YES! All volunteers are sincerely appreciated. Email us at support@stpetescavengerblast.com

Can we see results after the race?
Yes! Results and photos will be posted ont the website wednesday following the race. Please email us your photos if you have any that you would like to share!

What are the clues like?
The clues are word puzzles and hints to specific locations.

What about the challenges and detours?
Some and mental, others are physical, but all can be completed by working together!
